Welcome!

Hi everyone and welcome to my brand new blog/website! I'm learning as I go, so please bear with me as I'm sure there will be some bumps in the road!

So, what to talk about...

CURRENT WIP:

I'm currently working on Amongst The Wildflowers, book 3 in my Fleurs d'amour series. Layla & Ethan's story is a friends to lovers romance which is one of my favourite tropes to read! I'm not going to lie, this book has been very slow going. I've only just reached the 10K word mark, but I am desperate to make this book as great as I possibly can. There's some themes in this book that are extremely personal to me, and I want to get it right! It is coming though, slowly but surely, and if you follow me on Facebook and are in my reader's group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/196914054176699/) you'll get little sneak peeks every week to whet your appetite and (hopefully!) have you using those grabby hands!

LIFE:

Nothing too exciting has been happening recently, unfortunately! My biggest news is that I got glasses lol! I'm trying so hard to get used to them, but, ugh, it's not as easy as I thought it would be. The weather has turned pretty yuck down under as we head into winter, so I've pretty much gone into hibernation, lots of curling up on the couch with a book, movie nights with friends and coffee catch ups. I have to admit, I am kind of a fan of winter. Listening to the rain fall, with the heater cranked up and a good book on my tablet soothes my soul!

I've been reading sooooo much over the last few months and a few of my recent recs would be Good Girl by Jana Aston (https://amzn.to/2lah8UM), Cross by Adriana Locke (https://amzn.to/2sY4v3h) and if you love MC books, you HAVE to check out King's Wrath (https://amzn.to/2ygKXfM) and King's Reign (https://amzn.to/2y9RAAq) by Nina Levine. That woman writes an MC better than anyone! Oh! And I have been working my way through Penny Reid's backlist and oh my god! She is such an intelligent and emotive writer! I'm loving her Winston Brothers series with every fibre of my being (Book 3 is my favourite!) and if you haven't already read it, I HIGHLY recommend it!
